Venable’s acquisition of longstanding IP boutique Fitzpatrick Cella Harper & Scinto is now official as of Nov. 1. The merger adds roughly 100 IP attorneys to the general practice firm, with particular expertise in patent litigation.
Venable is a Washington DC-based firm with nine offices in the US, including Baltimore, San Francisco and two New York offices with the addition of the Fitzpatrick team.
As a result of the combination, Venable is ranked nationally by LMG Life Sciences in the areas of general patent litigation, Hatch-Waxman litigation, patent prosecution, and strategy & management.
